Tony SOULIÉ
Born in Paris (France), in 1955
Photographer, painter, sculptor, French engraver, Tony Soulié is a major contemporary artist. Since 1976, he traveled around the world: USA, Chile, Ghana, South Korea, Australia… He creates photographs and gives them that inimitable patina, which is his trademark, adding bright colors, giving them and a double resonance, a poetic depth coupled with a unique aesthetic, on the border between photography and painting.

BIOGRAPHY
French contemporary artist, Tony Soulié is a painter, photographer, installation creator and essayist. Born in Paris (France), in 1955
A student of the École des Beaux-Arts and the École des Arts Appliqués in Paris, he has been exhibiting since 1977.
He practiced theater, dance, acrobatics, and always photography and painting.
In 1983 he carried out his first installation at the Citroën factory and, since then, has worked on sites as varied as the Etna volcano, Pompeii, the Hoggar desert, Mount Olympus, Big Island and the Pomerol vineyard.
In 1977 first personal exhibition, in Switzerland. More than a hundred others followed in France. To date, he has participated in more than 200 group exhibitions in France, throughout Europe and mainly in the United States, Latin America and Japan.
It is present both in public collections, such as the Museum of Modern Art in Paris or La Villette, and in numerous corporate collections. A great traveler with internationally recognized talent, Tony Soulié will be present in Porto-Vecchio.
